ISE wins No.1 slot at the Great Place to Work Awards
The Irish Stock Exchange (ISE) has won Best Medium Workplace in Ireland in the Great Place to Work 2016 Awards (for organisations with between 100 and 300 employees).
Deirdre Somers, the ISE’s CEO, said, “We are thrilled to have won this award. The Irish Stock Exchange is a very special place to work and that is down to the people that work in it. I'm delighted that all of their hard work, and the strong positive culture that we have developed, has been recognised."
The ISE won a Great Place to Work "Inspiring" Award at the event last year and was ranked in the Top 50 Great Places to Work Europe in 2015.
She added “as a business, the Irish Stock Exchange is the #1 stock exchange globally for listing bonds and investment funds. We are lucky to have a dynamic, highly professional workforce and place great emphasis on ensuring our staff feels part of our success. We have increased our employee numbers by 10% over the last year and we anticipate further recruitment to facilitate growth.”
