Life sciences company, Malin, raises €330m through its IPO on the ESM
Malin Corporation PLC (Malin), the Irish-based global life sciences company, has raised €330million from international investors as part of its initial public offering (IPO) on the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE). It is one of the largest life science IPOs ever to take place in Europe. Malin is trading exclusively on the Enterprise Securities Market (ESM). Mainstay Medical float on the Irish Stock Exchange
Mainstay Medical International plc (Mainstay Medical) has today floated on the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE). Mainstay Medical raised €18m on its admission to the Enterprise Securities Market (ESM) and commenced trading with a market capitalisation of €90m. Mainstay Medical is the first company on the Irish market to have a dual quotation with Euronext Paris. The ISE now has active dual listings with the UK, US, Canada, France and Switzerland.
Dalata Hotel Group raises €265m on joining the Irish Stock Exchange
Dalata Hotel Group (Dalata), the largest hotel operator in Ireland, has today joined the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE) raising €265m. Dalata operates 40 hotels, totaling over 6,100 rooms, with all bar one -- Cardiff -- located in Ireland. The Group's portfolio includes the 13 Maldron Hotels as well as other well-known hotels across the country. The net €265m funds raised as part of its flotation will be used by the company to acquire a portfolio of approximately 16-25 hotels throughout Ireland and to pay down existing debt. Dalata's central management group includes a number of former senior executives of the Jurys Doyle Hotel Group plc led by CEO, Pat McCann; Dermot Crowley, Deputy Chief Executive; Finance & Development and Stephen McNally, Deputy Chief Executive.
Mincon commences trading on the Irish Stock Exchange raising €50m
Mincon commences trading on the Irish Stock Exchange raising €50m Tuesday, 26th November 2013 The Irish Stock Exchange ("ISE") welcomes Mincon Group (Mincon) to the Enterprise Securities Market ("ESM"). Mincon specialises in the design, manufacture, sales and servicing of rock drilling consumable tools and related products. Headquartered in Shannon, Mincon has manufacturing facilities in Ireland, the USA and Australia. It also maintains an established network of sales and distribution companies in a number of international markets to provide after sales support and service to customers. Mincon raised €50m as part of its flotation and joins the ESM with a market capitalisation of €180m. Mincon's ESM ticker symbol is MIO. Kevin Barry, CEO of Mincon, speaking at the company's market launch at the ISE, said "Floating on a public market is a significant milestone for Mincon. By listing on the Irish Stock Exchange, Mincon will be able to source international capital to fund the next phase of its expansion. We operate in a global marketplace, having a stock exchange listing also enhances our reputation with our international customers." Deirdre Somers, Chief Executive of the ISE, added "Mincon is a mature export-orientated Irish business which has grown through the development of its manufacturing, distribution and client base internationally. We are delighted to see a company like Mincon use the public market as a means to raise international capital. It demonstrates that the ISE is a place for established and emerging Irish companies to scale their business.
