Companies with securities on and seeking admission to listing and trading on the Main Securities Market of the ISE are required to appoint and retain a registered Sponsor.

The ISE:

• Maintains a register of approved Sponsors (equity and investment funds);
• Reviews Sponsor applications (equity and investment funds); and
• Monitors compliance by Sponsors with their on-going obligations.

Sponsor Rules

Sponsors are required to comply with the Sponsor Rules when applying to become a registered sponsor and on an on-going basis.

The Equity Sponsor Rules, application process and register are separate to the Investment Funds Sponsor Rules.

The Sponsor Rules set out:

• Conditions for admission to the register;
• Applications procedures;
• Continuing obligation and notification requirements; and
• Compliance and enforcement procedures.
