| Listing and the Global Exchange Market | Monitoring issuers’ compliance with the GEM Rules, both at the time of the application for the admission of securities to listing and trading on the GEM, and on an on-going basis. |
| Enterprise Securities Market | Monitoring issuers’ compliance with the ESM Rules, both at the time of the application for the admission of securities to trading on the ESM, and on an on-going basis. The ISE has an obligation under Part V of the Companies Act 1990 to investigate and report insider dealing to the Director of Corporate Enforcement in relation to Irish companies admitted to the ISE’s ESM and GEM markets. |
| Member firms and registered traders | Monitoring member firms and registered traders’ compliance with the Rules of the ISE. |
| Registered sponsors / ESM advisers | Reviewing applications for admission of sponsors and ESM Advisers to the relevant ISE registers, and monitoring their compliance with the relevant rule books on an on-going basis. |
| Market trading activity under MiFID | Monitoring transactions undertaken by market participants to identify: - Breaches of the Rules of the ISE;
- Disorderly trading conduct; and
- Conduct that may involve market abuse.

| Market abuse under the Market Abuse (Directive 2003/6/EC) Regulations | The ISE has an obligation to report suspected market abuse on its regulated market, the Main Securities Market, to the Central Bank of Ireland. |
