Consultation Paper on ISE Listing Regime
In April 2011, the ISE issued a Consultation Paper which opened up for debate proposals to revise the structure of the ISE listing regime for companies trading on the Main Securities Market. The Consultation Paper followed on from the amended structure to the UK listing regime which was adopted by the Financial Services Authority in 2010. As a result of the consultation paper and feedback received a decision was made to maintain the existing primary and secondary listing options available on the ISE. Consultation Paper on Irish Corporate Governance Annex
In early 2010, the Irish Stock Exchange (‘ISE’) and the Irish Association of Investment Managers the (‘IAIM’) commissioned a report on compliance with the Combined Code on corporate governance (the ‘Report’). At the time of publication the ISE gave an undertaking to consider how best to implement the nine Recommendations arising from the Report. As a result of the consultation paper and feedback received a decision was made to introduce the Irish Corporate Governance Annex which places additional requirements, over and over the UK Corporate Governance Code, on ISE companies listed on the Main Securities Market.
